Hi there! God's Blessings on you. 

My name is Bill Thames and I would like to introduce to you, Randy Davenport and his lovely wife Elizabeth.

Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri, Randy and his wife Elizabeth attend Sheffield Family Life Center where they are licensed ministers there in the prison outreach ministry. Randy has been following Jesus since the early eighties and has been involved in Christian music since 1982.

He started writing songs and performing and then formed a Christian rock band called "Sojourner". After several years, he went solo. He intended to do "singer/songwriter" type material like James Taylor and Neil Young but evolved, quite by accident, into a "Country" sound and decided to give way to it.

He has recorded two projects, "Sweet Mercy" and "Mail Call", all songs that he has written. You can sample his music by clicking on the "Sample" tab above.

Randy and Elizabeth belong to the Country Gospel Music Association and Randy has been awarded the "CGMA" International Golden Heart for "Songwriter of the Year" and "Male Vocalist of the Year" for 2004 and 2005. He has also received the "King Cat Kansas City Christian Music" award, "Country of the Year" for 2005, 2006, and 2007". Randy and his wife Elizabeth have also received the International CGMA Golden Heart "Shepard of the Year" award for 2006 for their prison ministry.

They also appeared on TBN network "Praise the Lord" program and the "Sunday Night Alive" program that aired on channel 50 in Kansas City, MO.

Elizabeth is an evangelistic style preacher ofElizabeth is an evangelistic style preacher of the Word and has a dynamic testimony of the delivering power of Christ Jesus. They perform and minister for churches, prisons, special events, coffee houses, and festivals. Their passion is for the lost and our brothers and sisters both inside the "wall" and out. They are available and would count it a privilege to come and minister to you at your church or venue.
